Best of the 2017 PGA Merchandise Show: Part I

Each year, we set out on an adventure to the annual PGA Merchandise Show, where we discover all the latest and greatest style trends for golfers. This year’s event set the bar higher than ever with some of the best deals and golf-inspired goodies we’ve seen so far.

After days of browsing through hundreds of fabulous t-shirts, hats, skirts, and other great golf accessories, we just had to compile a list of our favorite finds and share it with fellow Savvy Girl golfers. In fact, we found so many amazing items that we decided to split up our “best of” list and reveal them in a two-part series.

2.Katherine Way

Our readers know that Katherine Way is one of our absolute favorites. Awarded the 2016 Top Buyers Choice Award at last year’s PGA Show, her golf-clothing line is on fire and available in many beautiful boutiques across the United States. In fact, all her products are made right here in the USA.

Always a terrific host, Katherine greeted us with a big hug and a tour of her new product line.  The prints on all her clothing is vibrant and like all of her other products (dresses, skorts, shorts, tops, and outerwear), it’s made with high-performance functional fabrics.  We absolutely love, love, love this top…

She added a new golf clothing line this year.  Here is a sneak peek:

A couple years ago, Deb purchased a Katherine Way shirt with a starfish print in blue and white. It’s her favorite, and after washing it numerous times, it still looks like new! And it also looks great on her!

3.Lucky in Love Skorts from Miami.

One of our new favorites is the Lucky in Love Skirts from Miami. These artist-designed skorts are available in 12 unique designs and come with color-coordinated solid polos, tanks, and jackets. At the show, they also featured their new line of laser scallop skirts, fringed scalloped skorts, and metallic skorts. This is definitely a company to watch in the future.

4.EP New York (Previously EP Pro)

No matter how many golf brands we try, we keep coming back to EP because of the quality of their fabrics, length of their tops, and their true-to-size measurements. They also show off our Savvy Girl Golf logo so well.

5.IBKUL Brand

A new favorite of ours and for obvious reasons why is the IBKUL brand. We already have several of their clothes in our wardrobe, thanks to Diane’s savvy shopping. We were pleased to see them at the show this year!  We love the patterns and the vibrant colors on these shirts.

Diane constantly receives compliments whevenever she wears one of these shirts. The secret to their appeal is that they use a special fabric that keeps your body cool and protected against the sun’s rays.

And if you stay out on the course as long we do, that’s an absolute must have! Their creative designs are made by professional artists. They always keep popular patterns in stock, but they create new designs four times a year. We each picked out our favorite patterns, and you never know…they may find their way to our store in the future!

Look who got an amazing makeover! We saw this sign and couldn’t believe what we were witnessing! Yes, Jason Dufner looking good in Vineyards Vines.

This guy used to be on the European tour, and when his putting game had issues, he started doing golf tricks and does them all over the world now! Check him out at www.david-edwards.co.uk.

OK…we admit it…we have no idea who this guy is. But check out those patterns! We loved his outfit, and he stopped to chat with us. It reminded us that sometimes the people you meet at the PGA show are just as fun and exciting as the merchandise you see!
